It is our pleasure to invite you to the 8th International Conference on Children's Bone Health, to be held 10-13 June 2017 in the beautiful German city of Würzburg.
This Conference will bring together scientists and clinicians from a wide range of disciplines to gain a better understanding of the growing skeleton in health and disease. The scope ranges from basic molecular mechanisms to clinical aspects, from bone physiopathology to treatment. We invite anyone with an interest in bone metabolism and bone mass in children, adolescents and young adults to attend. The 2015 meeting held in Salzburg, Austria, was attended by over 450 delegates from over 45 countries, making it truly multinational and multidisciplinary – a unique networking opportunity.
The scientific programme is designed to present researchers, physicians, and allied health professionals with the newest research, with sessions including plenary lectures by world-leading experts, symposia, workshops, oral communications and poster sessions.
The Conference will offer investigators from around the world an opportunity to meet with each other and with industry representatives. There will be plenty of opportunity for discussion both in and outside the lecture theatre and we actively encourage you to submit your abstracts for oral and poster presentation. Our priority is to maximise the time available for presentation of submitted abstracts.
We are proud to hold this conference in the beautiful and historic city of Würzburg. Situated on the banks of the Main River, Würzburg is at the heart of the Franconian wine growing region, with typical romantic scenery and historical architecture adding to the attractions of the area. The city is easily reached by plane and train, with Frankfurt and Nuremberg airports around an hour away, and Munich airport just under 2 hours. The conference will be held in the Würzburg Congress Center, which offers a versatile, modern and spacious venue, perfect in size and location for ICCBH.
ICCBH is your opportunity to hear about and discuss state of the art clinical and basic science applicable to children's bone health. Come and participate in a lively interactive meeting with the leaders in the field!
We look forward to seeing you in Würzburg in June 2017.
